Achieve the right screed quality and surface strength with RETANOL® screed.
The recognised rules of the trade and the state of the art, which define a relationship between surface strength and screed quality, are applicable here.
- CT-C25-F4 and CA/CAF-C25-F4 approx. 0,7 N/mm²
- CT-C35-F5 and CA/CAF-C25-F5 approx. 0,9 N/mm²
- CT-C45-F6 and CA/CAF-C35-F7 approx. 1,2 N/mm²
- CT-C30/35-F5 ≥ 1,0 N/mm²
- CT-C40/45-F6 ≥ 1,5 N/mm²
An example from classic residential construction:
Although the strength requirements for the screed are usually no higher than a C25-F4, this can change quickly due to certain floor coverings.
Parquet usually has a minimum adhesion value of ≥ 1.0 N/mm². With an untreated screed, CT-C45-F6 would have to be specified. With a Retanol® screed, you get the right surface tensile strength even with a CT-30/35-F5, including all the services that the Retanol® screed system includes.
